Be friends with strangers
Be friends with strangers

For most travelers, it’s not easy to be friends with strangers during the trip. Because people walk from a different culture or background. While making beautiful connections when I traveled, it was not an easy job earlier my traveling days due to shyness. But now it has become easier for me to mingle with unknown people on the road. In back those days, it used to be only my type of mentality until I get married. Later, I adapted & converted the situation of being only me to others while traveling now.

Drumheller, dinosaur capital of the world

Drumheller has been referred to as the world’s dinosaur capital due to several reasons. Out of many reasons, The Royal Tyrrell Museum is one of the reasons for having the tiniest grain of pollen to the mightiest dinosaur. BISTI WILDERNESS, AN AMERICAN BADLANDS

Amercian badlands
It’s American Badlands

I always dreamt of visiting An American Badlands. My dream came true when my primary school buddy took me to the alienation. That’s to say, my friend, surprised me to the other side of the world by taking to the Bisti Wilderness. Petrified logs are scattered among the numerous landforms and unique geological features of this part of New Mexico. Photographers come from across the globe to capture this unique landscape, featured as an alien planet in many Hollywood movies. During our couple of hours trekking to the petrified wilderness, we lost our contact with the entire universe. Therefore, we halted the time in a futuristic world where no living creatures were seen. The hoodoos and fragile-looking grey hills turned into orange hills during the magic hours before sunrise and sunset.

RANTHAMBORE, WILDLIFE ENTHUSIASTS’ DEN

Wildlives Enthusiasts' Paradise
Wildlife Jeep Safari

Ranthambore National Park has always been the center point of wildlife enthusiasts’ den. Taking a safari to see the majestic tigers was one of the highlights for any traveler by any means. Due to the lack of fear for the tigers from human presence in vehicles, the safari has made even exciting for the tourists. I basically inspired to visit this place while I used to watch Indian naturalist Valmik Thapar’s TV episode of Land of the Tiger on Animal Planet in 2004 or 2005. Ranthambore Wildlife Enthusiasts’ Den is in Sawai Madhopor District of Rajasthan state, India. This is one of the finest places to view wild animals because it contains a huge variety of animals, birds, and reptiles within it. Ranthambore National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957 and it got the status of a National Park in 1981.

NOSE HILL PARK, GREAT WALKING TRAILS

Wintry Grassland, Nose Hill Park, Calgary

Once upon a winter of Albertan Canada, I had been to Nosehill, great walking trails. It’s full of hiking paths on a variety of surfaces – from asphalt to dirt to grass – and off-leash dog areas. Parts of the park contain native grasslands, one of the few examples left on the prairies. I only covered just one of the trails out of 60km of designated walking trails.

VIETNAM, A TOURIST’S HEAVEN

Streets of Hanoi
Iconic Rickshaw of Vietnam

How come Vietnam has become a tourist’s heaven? Hearing the name of Vietnam would seem like a war-torn country. Vietnam had always been oppressed by two powerful countries. One is by French and another one is by Americans. After the independence from both countries consecutively in 1945 and 1975, the Vietnamese became friendly to the world. In this post, I’ll give a brief idea about places where I have visited Vietnam. For example, I had been to Hanoi – a noisy capital city in the first place. Secondly, Halong Bay by junk boat. Moreover, Phu Quoc Island – local Vietnamese’s desired island and finally Saigon – commercial capital of Vietnam. Later, I’ll share individual blog post of mentioned places on accommodation, food, tourist places. Through this post, my readers will get tips and useful guides in planning their staycation or holiday in Vietnam.

MY TRAVEL INSPIRATION

Image for the travel aspiration lover

My Traveling Inspiration came from Parents followed by Friends

Why do you proclaim yourself as a passionate traveler? I traveled first within the country to Faridpur with my family members in 1984. My first travel destination outside the country was India in 1985. I attended a function in Calcutta (now is Kolkata) with my parents. On both occasions, the base had set as a group traveler which comes from family first. Later I started traveling with my friends within the country post my SSC exam in 1990. I traveled to Chittagong (now is Chattogram) on a few occasions with my buddies. I traveled to Faridpur to attend Cricket Tournament in 1991-1992 from my college along with friends. Group traveling had become a habit in my traveling experience while I was a graduate student in India. In between the semester break, I used to be backpackers with my Bangladeshi Aligarhian community to travel Incredible India.

Being the passionate traveler, my habit of traveling mounted from India, and the passion continued. Visited West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh several times during my 3 years of stay in India. I traveled a lot within the country and a couple of occasions outside the country with my friends and family members. Till now I had captured every moment with my camera, taken 3R prints on photo paper, and archived well in photo albums.
